Do you play an instrument, sing, love worship or consider yourself a Techie? Even if you are a beginner, we would love for you to join us… our heart is to teach and train students in the gifts that they have been given. Practices are Wednesdays at 6PM during the school year.
//DRAMA MINISTRY. . .
We currently have a drama and worship team that ministers to the children in PromiseLand on Sunday mornings. This ministry is such a blessing to PromiseLand as students are able to be role models for the children in our church. Our drama team also films news & commercials for The Gathering service. Practices are held one time a month on Sunday afternoon.
//HOT MEALS OUTREACH. . .
The Hot Meals Outreach is a way we serve our community. We partner with F.A.C.E.T.S. to prepare and serve around 100 meals to homeless people in Fairfax. This outreach is every 5th Sunday of the month. If you are interested in being a part of the Hot Meals Outreach, we meet at Capital Church at 6 AM to start cooking. Then we hand out the meals, at four different locations, along highway 50. This is such a rewarding way to serve, and we always have a lot of fun listening to and singing Oldies Music while we cook.
