Beginning Wednesday, January 30, Capital Church will be buzzing with fellowship, learning and growth opportunities for the whole family. You can come straight from work and begin the evening at 6:30 with a hearty hot meal in the Fellowship Mall and a great time of getting to know more of your church family.
Promptly at 7:30 multiple learning experiences are available around topics and studies that will deepen your relationship with the Lord and knowledge of His word. The end result will be greater fellowship, deepening discipleship and training, and equipping and releasing leadership in our church.
Open your heart, feed your soul, deepen your roots and expand your spiritual horizons. Don’t just survive, THRIVE!
This season you can pick one of the following classes:
Men’s Bible Study – “Fight” by Kenny Luck
In this study, Kenny Luck issues a challenge to men to engage in the spiritual battle raging around them. Too many men fall prey to Satan’s schemes and go down in flames, as their marriages, careers and ministries go down with them. In Fight, Luck gives you strategic “intel” into how the Enemy operates so you can be aware and ready to defend yourself. Open your eyes to the movements of the Enemy and learn to fight victoriously! This study will be led by Steve Anderson.
Women’s Bible Study – “Battlefield of the Mind” by Joyce Meyer
Like a chessboard, your mind is a battlefield. And doubt, worry, confusion, depression, anger, and condemnation are the enemy’s pawns. Fortunately, this study will show you how to recognize and stop damaging thought patterns, effectively use spiritual weapons, begin seeing the truth by thinking correctly, find peace, and win the match! This study will be led by Karen Barbour.
Student Ministries
The Gathering is our main service for students in grades 7-12. This service provides an opportunity to worship, explore God’s Word and connect with other students. Everyone needs time to spiritually re-fuel, have some fun and get a break from life’s busy schedule. Come ready to be challenged, encouraged, connected and even have a little fun as we gather to discover life, God and where we fit in.
